There still remains a high demand for Pharmacists in community pharmacies, hospitals and the manufacturing industry, as well as providing consulting services to Medical Practitioners.
Our new Bachelor of Pharmacy aims to meet this demand by employers and provides students with a wide variety of skills and clinical experience to meet the expectations for both hospital and community settings. The course covers topics including primary care, clinical and professional pharmacy, business management, modern approaches to compounding, medical chemistry, pharmacology and clinical pharmacotherapy and evidence based practice.
The second and third years of this degree are offered over trimesters, enabling graduates to complete the course in 3 years instead of 4 thus providing students with the opportunity to enter the workforce sooner than conventional courses.
